Horsemanship Testing Day - Judging - Horse Handling - Mastership
JUDGING:   Horses, riders, and helpers are needed! - If you can help, please contact Becky Callahan ASAP
JANUARY 21

**You may take a total of 2 tests on January 21.  You may only attempt 1 level of JUDGING.  


You must pre-register to test in any of the 3 events!

*Judging Sign in starts at 8:50 am
       You have to pre-register with the Google Form or contact Becky Callahan (520) 240-8895your information.
 If you are not pre- registered, you can not test.                                     We need your Name, Age, Club you're in, and what level you're testing for. 
*Judging clinic starts at 9 am
     (we teach you how to judge a horse correctly. Resources are also available on the website under the CE tab for JUDGING.
       It's a great practice and learning experience)
*Judging test starts at 10 am

4-H Members can help only after passing all 3 levels of Judging:  Adult volunteers are always welcome!

**Volunteers to take reasons, help sign in members, and help with scores are needed. **
4-H Members who have passed all 3 levels of Judging and want to help, please contact Becky! This counts as community service in your record books πŸ˜€

REQUIRED:   dress appropriately in English or Western attire. 
 For Western: jeans, boots, long sleeve shirts(tucked in), belt and western hat(or helmet) 

 For English:  English boots, jodhpurs, English shirt(tucked in), belt, jacket, and helmet. 
Judging is Open to all 4-H and FFA members

*Herb Brown will be there for Mastership testing all day. 
**You may take a total of 2 tests on January 21, 2024**
You may only attempt 1 level of MASTERSHIP and 1 other test: You may attempt 2 levels of Mastership and no other tests.

*Candy Farrington will be there for Horse Handling.
Sign-in will start at approximately 12 pm    RSVP forms and Study Guides are available on the website!
Testing will start AFTER Judging concludes AND as soon as volunteers are ready.

**BRING YOUR PROJECT HORSE FOR HANDLING** Horses are NOT supplied at the event!

You MUST have someone from your club volunteer as a tester.
        Volunteers from each club testing MUST help to test other clubs so everyone can test promptly. 
        Contact your leader, or Candy, to help you arrange a tester!

You may attempt 2 levels of HANDLING and no other tests ONLY if enough volunteers are available to make sure everyone gets their 1st test attempt promptly.
