Horse Project Leaders

Dear Horse Project Leaders,

We are very excited for a new 2018-2019 season! We the Horse Advisory Committee (HAC) have begun to work on planning horse shows/clinics for the new year!

Please be sure that your horse project leaders are familiar with our website, this is where we have communications on all county horse show happenings! pinalhorse.blogspot.com

We ask that all horse project leaders take a look at the forms and doc. tabs and review the Pinal Co. Horse Advancement Criteria. As horse project leaders, it is your responsibility to review/ and assess your club members with the riding test portion at your project meeting. In an event that the project leader cannot decide the level a 4-H youth, the leader should call on the HAC for help. We will skill assess as a committee and move members around if necessary according to the criteria.

Please remember that the rules do require that 2 representatives from the youth’s horse project club must attend all HAC meetings in order for the club to be eligible for the end of year high point and reserve high point awards.

We look forward to a great season!
