Have you emailed in your horse registration form for the show on FEBRUARY 16th?

The deadline to do so is FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1st by 5pm to the 4-H office! 

Horse Skill-a-thon Resources

Where: Pinal County Cowboy Church Arena- During our 3rd horse show

This horse skill-a-thon is open to all current junior and senior horse and horseless project members. Come on out and have some fun and test your horse knowledge.

3rd Pinal County Horse Show and Horse Skill-a-thon Invitation

Here is the official invite for our 3rd Horse Show of the 2018-2019 year!  

2018-2019 Pinal County 4-H Horse Show #3 and horse skillathon!

When:                         Saturday, February 16, 2019

Where:                       Pinal County Cowboy Church Arena, 18171 W. Hopi Drive, Casa Grande,                                       AZ   85122                                                    

Sat Schedule:             English (no jumping) 9 AM, Western(no roping events), Gymkhana                    

Registration:              8am- 8:30am  

Show Start:                9am Morning Meeting, followed by English events

Senior Advanced go first, followed by Junior Advanced, Intermediates and finally Beginners. That way the Beginners can watch and learn from the more experienced members.  

REMINDER:  Mandatory helmet policy for all 4-H members anytime while on the back of a horse on the property. Per Pinal County, this policy is effective immediately. These must be approved horse helmets, bicycle helmets are not allowed.  

Pre-Registration Due: Friday, February 1, 2019 to 4-H office by 5pm via email (mmelende@cals.arizona.edu)

Horse Show Fees: 

• $15 - per discipline ( english, western, gymkhana).  
• $15 - late fee for onsite registration 
• $15 - arena fee per exhibitor

Sponsorship Packets —  Each Pinal County member is required to obtain $150 in sponsorship to qualify for year end awards/buckles.   

• Donation/Sponsorship Packet

• Submit forms to:  Sponsorship forms are to be sent to Michelle @ email (pinalcounty4hhorse@gmail.com)

Sponsorship Due:  Sponsor Ad's that you'd like in the third horse show program need to have artwork emailed to pinalcounty4hhorse@gmail.com by February 1st. You may submit funds at the show.

Horse Skillathon - Open to all horse and horseless project members enrolled in Pinal County 4-H.
                                 Come participate in our horse skillathon at this show. Resource guides will be                                           sent out via email late next week. 
                                 Winners will be presented with a buckle at our end of year awards day.

To continue our success, we want to remind all families that 4-H is run by all families and your help is required at every show. 

Our final show will be April 6, 2019 so please mark your calendars.

Our third show will be February 16th and our final show will be April 6, 2019. We will send more information soon. 

Please remember to qualify for year end awards you are required to obtain a $150 sponsorship and attend 3 of the 4 shows. 

A big thank you to all the parents and youth that helped out today. We appreciate all that you do! 

Horse Show Tomorrow- Order of show and patterns

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. We wanted to remind you that the order of the show will go English, Western and then Gymkhana. We will start the show at 9am. First class will be English showmanship.  Please be sure that you are warmed up and at the gate for your class.
